The Tools and Resources I Use to Run My Business

When I first started my business, I was overwhelmed by all the tools and tech people said I "had" to use. Over time, I’ve figured out what works for me - tools that are simple to use, don’t cost a fortune, and actually make life easier (I've spent A LOT of money figuring this out).


These are the tools and resources I use every day to keep things running smoothly, whether I’m creating content, working with clients, or just staying organised. If you’ve been wondering what you really need to get started or grow your business, I hope this post gives you some helpful ideas.

1. My workspace setup: The little things that make a big difference

I don’t know about you, but having the right setup makes me feel way more productive and focused. Here are the three things I can’t work without:


  • Webcam: I use the Logitech C920S HD Pro for calls, recordings, and anything that needs a clear picture. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done and makes me feel more confident when I’m on camera, it also has an integrated microphone which is such a space-saver for my tiny desk!
  • Second Monitor: This has been such a huge improvement for how I work and I wish I had bought one sooner. I can have my notes or email open on one screen while working on something else on the other. It’s so easy to copy and paste, and it’s great for staying focused.   • Ring Light: I’m not someone who loves being on camera, but good lighting makes a huge difference. My ring light is super simple to set up and helps me look more professional, even when I’m recording in a hoodie.


These are small things, but they make my day-to-day work so much easier. And honestly, when things feel easier, I’m more motivated to show up consistently.

2. The all-in-one tool that simplifies everything: Systeme.io

I don’t know about you, but I’d rather not spend my entire day on social media. Hopper lets me plan and schedule posts ahead of time, so I can stay consistent without constantly being “on.”

This has been so helpful for creating bite-sized content for social media, especially when I want to share something valuable without spending hours editing.
